Who Are We?
Aeolius Wind Systems is a SME based in Fremantle, Western Australia. It was established as the marketing company in 2014 to harvest the outcomes of over a decade of research and development with Doppler LiDAR initiated and managed by the founder and CEO within private R&D companies, universities and government agencies.
Our core business is the provision of high value leading edge wind measurement, modelling and forecasting solutions to customers in the renewable energy, environmental management and atmospheric research sectors. Our capability includes the design, constructions and supply of tailored LiDAR products and field support services. We work with our customers to understand their information needs and deliver high quality and timely outcomes.
Our Expertise
Our expertise extends to the use of vertical wind profilers, long range, and ultra long-range scanning LiDAR’s in offshore and onshore wind energy applications; state-of-art numerical modelling; and conventional point source measurements (mast anemometry, sodar). AWS staff also have skill and experience in the fields of air pollution management including emissions monitoring, licensing, and regulatory policy.
